With its unique design, interesting contours and lines, and palette of materials that perfectly complements the property, this project flawlessly fits the client’s brief for a pool with high aesthetic appeal. The use of contours give this pool an art-deco feel with a modern twist, a fully-mosaiced infinity edge wall which not only curves, but continues out on a forward angle down to the trough base. A second spillover face allows water to cascade into a steel drainage system which then flows back into the main pool. The high attention to detail that has been taken on every aspect of this project is proven in perfectly laid tiles over both spillovers.
This pool represents Pools by Design’s unique approach to residential pool construction- its bespoke design, creative use of finishes and high attention to detail have produced an enviable aquatic masterpiece.

The winner of multiple awards at both the SPASA WA and SPASA Australia awards, the infinity edge pool definitely has the ‘wow factor’ every pool owner desires. The sloping block lends itself perfectly to an infinity edge pool, designed with the breathtaking vista in mind the pool is framed as a central element of the property. Western facing and on the Darling Scarp, the client is able to witness the picturesque sunsets over the city and beyond, the pool can be mistaken for being carved out of the hillside. Pool of the Year 2015 - Silver Renovations

Our client’s brief for this design and construct project was to be ‘wowed’. Transforming the dated existing swimming pool into a 16m lap pool with swim out required extensive engineering solutions and significant stabilisation of the boundary retaining walls. Feature LED lighting around the property highlight the pool as the main feature of the landscape, whilst frameless glass fencing ensures the pool zone blends seamlessly with the residence. A large plant room stores all of the pool equipment behind a large feature wall with a cleverly concealed “Alice” door located within the cladding.
Alongside creating a pool which exceeded the client’s expectations, we also designed and constructed the surrounding landscape elements. This included feature decking, paving, benching, planters, balustrading as well as the installation of synthetic grass on a raised terrace seating area.
